My favorite photos exude joy; love simply shines right out of them! Photos are so important to me (and they must be to you, too, or you wouldn’t be here). I always find myself studying and observing light. I look for luminosity and perfect lighting for every situation to create moments that simultaneously feel like a dream and will stand the test of time for you and generations to come. Your wedding photos are one of the first tangible heirlooms you have to pass down and help create your legacy.
My approach
to put you at ease
I create portraits with a photojournalistic approach and an editorial eye, while taking pride in crafting fully curated photos that tell your story and that are consistent in tone and style. On your big day, my hope is that you allow my expertise and years of knowledge as a photographer, a director, a curator, stylist and most of all a storyteller, to put you at ease, knowing you will look as beautiful as you feel.

Just like every love story is unique, so are your needs for your wedding day. Through custom collections I work with you and your planner to create something that is the perfect fit for you. All weddings include a planning consultation, custom timeline, 8 hours of wedding day coverage with Ashley and a second shooter, an online gallery with all of your high resolution images (typically 75-100 per hour of service), print release and access to my custom guides that will help us achieve the most romantic, authentic photos for your day.
This base wedding package starts at $5850.00.
Elopements and intimate weddings requiring less coverage time and certain destination weddings are discounted, please e-mail for your custom quote. Bridal, boudoir and engagement sessions can be added to packages or booked a la carte.

Engagement sessions are important for so many reasons and I recommend them to every wedding client. That is why most of my packages come with this specific session. First, how fun to document this time in your life! For me, looking back on my engagement was one of the sweetest season; everything was spiked with anticipation and excitement. My husband and I often talk about how deliriously happy we were and I love to capture that in your lives, too! Second, I love getting to know you and your fiance so that come wedding day, we are comfortable and able to give you our very best. Getting to know you also helps us define what is most important to you so we can translate that in your photos on your wedding day. If you aren’t a bridal client you can certainly still book an a la carte engagement session with me! Engagement sessions begin at $500.

frequently asked questions
+ What is the difference between film and digital?
Good question, I shoot with both mediums on your wedding day because I believe they each have a place. I love film to capture light, movement, texture and incredible color while I opt for digital in low light situations (think receptions or dimly lit ceremony spaces)or family portraits where your uncle Larry blinks in every other shot. + What kind of couples do you love to work with?
We love working with couples who are completely in love with each other. They are affectionate, kind and joyful. They value the little details and trust us to create the best images possible for them. Our couples prioritize photography, but that never outweighs the love they have for one another, which is the most important part of the day!
+ Do you really travel anywhere?
Absolutely! There is nothing more inspiring than shooting in a new location. We've been quite a few fun places like Ireland and Mexico and love creating all over the country and world! Just ask if you're planning your wedding outside of the midwest or want to do an engagement session in a place that is special to you!4. If we don't have a wedding planner, will you help us with our timeline? -Yes, of course! I want you to enjoy your wedding day above all else, so feeling like you're rushing from photo to photo isn't what we want. I will help you time the day in a way you can be fully present and enjoy all your friends, family, food and fun without sacrificing amazing images!
+ How many photos should we expect?
I yield between 75-100 photos per hour of service. The final number of images in your gallery will vary based on number of guests, size of family, details and timeline. Most couples can expect a minimum of 800 images and some recieve upwards of 1400. Each photo will be edited to perfection, and I give you every photo I take unless it has technical issues or is unflattering (somone is blinking, chewing, etc.).
+ How many hours are in your base package?
In my many years of experience, I have found that 8 hours of coverage works for 90% of couples. This is especially true if your ceremony and reception are at the same location. Cases that may need additional hours include scenarios where travel is involved in between sites or things like early getting ready times and late specialty exits like sparklers. My hours are continuous and I will work with you to choose what makes the most sense. The most important thing is that we have a timeline that allows you to relax and be present with those you love the most. I'll make sure I am there for every moment so you don't have to worry about a thing.
