I loved spending time with Traci this past summer around Grand Rapids, Michigan! It was extra fun because I got to take her older sisters senior photos a couple of years ago and I got to see the whole family during this session, and even snap a photo of these gorgeous sisters together! There is a little hidden field that I use often and during the summer it gets filled to the brim with queen anne's lace-- it was out in full bloom for this session and I just love the sunset/field photos! Last week I met with Sydney downtown Grand Rapids to photograph her senior session.  We had such a blast!  Besides being an absolute stunning beauty, Sydney is academically minded and a superior athlete! She will be attending University of Iowa next year, playing soccer and exploring all the options as she decides what career path to follow. Regardless of what she chooses, I can tell she is going to do amazing things! Here are some of my favorites from our time together! Enjoy!

Aside from weddings, I love shooting lifestyle events and senior sessions are some of my very favorite kinds. I love capturing this special time in a senior's life and getting to photographing the real essence of the young men and women I get to work with. Instead of the typical posed and sometimes stiff photos, I absolutely can't wait to head somewhere fun and produce images that relay the heart of the subject. I was so thrilled to work with Kelsey and venture into an overgrown field with beautiful wildflowers.  Kelsey is such an amazing young lady and has a bright, bright future ahead of her. How cool to document this time before she heads off to college and can literally be and do whatever she endeavors to? Here are a few of my favorites from our time together!
