Summer has been full of beauty, and it doesn't get much better than an engagement session on the shores of Lake Michigan. I met up with Lucie and Anthony in Holland and we walked down to the pier, along the dunes and stepped out onto the breaker rocks-- it was perfect! As much as I am ready for fall to come, looking at these has me missing the warm summer days already. I can't wait for their wedding next year, for now enjoy some of my favorites from our session! 

Can I tell you a secret? I used to cringe when I had people tell me they wanted to bring their dogs to their sessions. For some reason I had listened to other photographers with horror stories of wild animals and failed sessions. After having my third pet join a session I realized that the dogs were great and added such a fun element to the shoot! Ever since then I encourage clients who really want to include their furbabies to bring them along! So far I have never had an unruly pet and I have loved the dynamic they bring. Just check out ROY  above. Isn't he a handsome guy?! He added such a fun element to Audrey and Ryan's session! He can't be at their November wedding but I sort of wish he was! I've been on a personal mission this year to shoot every session at a new location, and I loved this marble and light filled spot so much! Lauren and John were so fun and natural and I love how bright and airy their session is! They are getting married in just a couple of weeks and I can't wait for the wedding with Sincerely Ginger Weddings! Enjoy some of my favorites...
