Julia + Ritz | Henry Ford Museum Wedding

Julia and Ritz! We loved this wedding— the bride and groom were married at a special to them church and then we continued on to the Henry Ford museum. As we neared the reception, the forecast showed a major storm approaching. You can see it in the skies if you scroll to the bottom portraits— but the rain and wind and storm made such moody and gorgeous photos! The rain poured as guests danced the night away and explored the museum. It was a treat to work with such a sweet couple! Enjoy a glimpse into their day!

Carl + Marisa | Married

Marisa and Carl were married just a little over two weeks ago and boy, was it a wonderful start to our 2024 wedding season! Our day started at the bride’s parents residence where a handful of close friends and family joined Carl and Marissa as they exchanged vows and became Mr. & Mrs. Nord! Right after, they enjoyed an intimate dinner (made in part by the bride’s mom Cathy) in the side lawn complete with speeches and lovely toasts! Our finally destination was Brighton Light house where we just beat a downpour of rain to complete portraits on the property. The rest of the evening was spent eating, dancing, celebrating and completing an outfit change where our bride went from her classic gown to her grandmothers slightly modified gorgeous lace dress! It was such a wonderful evening and I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from the day!

Katherine + Jacob | Shinola Hotel Detroit

Katherine + Jacob’s Wedding in Detroit at the Shinola Hotel was a thing dreams are made of. Maybe I was partial, since Katherine is a fellow Alabama girl (roll tide!), but I just loved this couple and all the amazing vendors associated with their day! I’ve overshared on their photos, but I’m not mad about it and I’m not even sorry because they need to be seen! Enjoy this classic, romantic and uber timeless wedding!
