Lorraine and Erick are just about the coolest people I have ever met. When I saw Lorraine step out of their uber in her wedding reception dress and leather jacket I knew that their entire session was going to be amazing. And it was. I have been dreaming of shooting at San Francisco City Hall and they kindly let me take a few snaps before we headed down to the Embarcadero for some ice cream and more casual shots. This couple has just as much fun with each other as it looks like and to say I am excited for their San Francisco wedding at the end of this month is an understatement. Enjoy some beautiful images below!
A bridal session so dreamy you almost think it can't be real. There is something otherworldly about the property at Holman Ranch. Stone that takes you back a hundred years. The hum of buzzing bees and rustling vines...the warmth that permeates off the building from a day of hot sun. Every element of this bridal session speaks to timelessness and I couldn't love it more. Florals that are as pretty as a painting by Christine Cater in the most perfect peachy pink palette added to the romance. The most gorgeous gown from Kinsley James Bridal + rings by Susie Saltzman were the perfect addition to this simple shoot. Thanks to our beautiful model, Michaela Noelle Designs!
Bridal sessions are such a special time to document the beauty before the hustle and bustle of wedding day. If you'd like to book a bridal session with me, send me an e-mail. Sessions can be as simple or as detailed as you'd like, it is also a fun time to wear a more relaxed hairstyle and play with a totally different look than you'd have on your wedding day. Let's start planning yours today!
I am so excited to share this wild, hazy and romantic seaside engagement session. I think I found one of my new favorite places to photograph and it is so nearby the heart of San Francisco. The Sutro Baths are rich in history-- once a grand structure on the cliffs where locals could come and bathe in heated saltwater pools. Sadly a fire destroyed the stunning cliff house and now what is left are the eerie remains of the outline of bathing pools. For me, any place rooted in history that holds the magic of nostalgia is exactly where I want to be. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of new love and antique, historical elements. Sutro Baths fit the bill in so many ways and I couldn't be more pleased with how Lindsey + Bill's session turned out! I even tried my hand at creating my own florals and I am pretty happy with how they photographed, but I won't be adding floral services to my offerings anytime soon! The sea... something about it!
