Hannah & Connor | Cathedral Barn Traverse City Wedding

Working in northern Michigan is always so sweet! It doesn't hurt that it is one of my very favorite places on Earth, but then add to that one very special couple and well, I was in heaven! This gorgeous wedding took place at Cathedral Barn, a newer venue in Traverse City. Hannah and Connor were so incredibly humble and grateful and really just full of the deepest kind of love for one another. Please let me tell you about how amazing their vows were--I usually always tear up during this part of a wedding but I was legitimately silent sobbing through the entire thing. I was just so honored to be a part of their day in so many ways.  I was completely taken with the perfect fall color palette and the hops boutonnieres; the details were so perfect! Another really excited part of this couples wedding was that we got to try out hand at a short, cinematic trailer (found at the very bottom of this post) and we are so thrilled to be offering this to clients in 2017!  Enjoy some favorites and congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Sweeney!

Nancy & Andrew | McKay Tower Fine Art Film Wedding

If you want to see the most dripping in elegance wedding dress on the most beautiful bride, you've come to the right place today. Nancy and Andrew were married a few weeks ago in Grand Rapids, Michigan and despite the rain (we are talking torrential-downpour-we-got-stuck-with-two-other-wedding-parties-at-city-hall-for-30-minutes kind of rain) it was such a beautiful day. With amazing talent on board (Posh Petals, Chic and Pretty Events and Coastline Videography just to name a few) I wasn't at all surprised. From the small details to the large ones, this wedding is so uniquely classic. Nancy has a love for vintage couture and I think you'll see that translated here. We were rewarded with a peek of sun in the afternoon for post-ceremony portraits before heading into the decadent art-deco reception. Massive banana leaves made this reception decor a total stand-out. Of course, the pretty was well, pretty but more importantly two wonderful people dedicated their lives to loving one another in front of their closest friends and family and that was truly the sweetest part of the entire day. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Zawisza! Enjoy some of my favorites below! Complete list of vendors below.
