I met Mattie a couple of years ago at one of the workshops I teach and instantly fell in love with her joyful spirit. When I got a call about a year later to shoot her wedding, I was absolutely thrilled. Mattie is the visionary behind Spark & Wildflower and creates stunning days for her clients. I knew her very own wedding would be gorgeous, and it certainly was! Nick and Mattie are a perfect match and it was a wonderful day full of love and celebrating. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Burke! Jessica and Dana are the type of couple that you just know are going to make it. So in love, and so attentive to one another, their day was as special as they are. Jessica was a knockout bride, and Dana was arguably one of the most handsome grooms. One of my favorite details of their day was how thoughtfully they honored and remembered their loved ones, here and gone. Sentimental hankies, keepsake lockets on the bridal bouquet and gorgeous heirloom rings (the groom's grandparents) were just a few of those special touches. We were graced with a warm, sunny April day, which in Michigan is almost unheard of! This wedding day was so beautiful from start to finish and I was so honored to have been a part of such a great day! Here are some of my hand picked favorites!
