Last week Whitney and Cory officially tied the knot amongst friends and family at Thornapple Country Club. Touches of royal blue tied everything together from the invitation suite to the groom's plaid shirt and chambray suit.  Gold details, vintage forks, personalized mason jars and a cheesecake station made this wedding super unique and beautiful.  As if that weren't enough, the sweetest moments during first looks, toasts and dances made this wedding day a joy to be a part of! It's no secret that there aren't many things I love more than a wedding day. The details coming together, the excitement and the beauty... so many reasons that documenting loves stories is a passion of mine. When I get to spend the day with couples who are kind, generous and perfect for each other its like Christmas morning for me. Katelyn and Jordan's wedding was just that, and more. Two kinder souls you won't find; Katelyn teaches special education and Jordan is a social worker; two people who daily live selflessly for others.  Both Jordan and Katelyn's family and friends were incredibly kind and made the day a joy.

I always love a groom who is beyond excited to marry his bride-- let's just say Jordan broke into a dance whenever he saw Katelyn for the first time. You just have to smile when that happens! These two were more focused on their marriage than the wedding day, but their details weren't lacking my any means. From popcorn favors, to vintage furniture the reception was impeccably chic and beyond perfect! So much so, that the Knot even featured them on their website! The pitter patter of toddler feet mixed with the sounds of hairspray, laughter and shouts from boaters enjoying the lake.  The sun had come out, the flowers had arrived and everyone was making their final preparations. The day was perfect, and Carrie and Justin were ready to make things official! Joined by their closest friends, Carrie's daughter and their precious little boy, they made their commitment to each other with sparkling Gun Lake at Bay Pointe Inn as their backdrop. The bride wore a stunning lace gown accented with the most beautiful gem encrusted belt and wore her hair in a classic high bun.  Guests enjoyed the casual atmosphere and had cocktails on the lawn and sampled bite sized cookies and desserts.  During reception time, adults danced and chatted as the kids ran off the end of the dock and took a summer swim.  Nothing could have made this wedding more perfect for this amazing family!  I am so thankful I got to be a part of such a fun time, and make new friends in the process (isn't it great when that happens!?)  Here are some of my favorites from their day!
