I met with Nancy and Andrew a few weeks ago while it was still dark in the city of Grand Rapids. We met early, hoping to catch the sunrise on what turned out to be a blustery, sunless, windy day! Despite the cold, Nancy strutted her stuff around the city in a gorgeous gown and skirts (one hand made) and we had so much fun. A floral bouquet by Shelby of The Day's Design really made the rooftop start to our session extra special. These two are so fun and such a sweet couple. I can't wait for their September 2016 wedding!  Here are a few of my favorites from our time together!

Shooting this particular engagement session was so special to me; I have known Emily since moving to Michigan almost 9 (!!) years ago. I've been lucky enough to see Emily grow into the beauty she is today, and I am so happy she met Mike. I can't wait for their March wedding in Michigan next year! After a chance meeting in college, Hank and Jarvie knew they were meant for each other.  Fast forward through a long distance relationship and several years later, and these two are finally planning their northern Michigan wedding set for next summer. It was such a pleasure to meet up with these two and photograph their engagement session in the gorgeous city of Chicago. We had such a blast and I loved getting to know them a little bit better. I absolutely cannot wait for their big day next year! Here are just a few of my favorite digital shots!  I'll be sharing a few more on film, coming soon!
